EST Top Performers: 1/6/16

Top 10 list! At least for the boys side. Pretty straightforward, not many games on the schedule. Barely any on the girls end, so the ones who did play get a note at the bottom.

Boys

10.) Caleb Lapinel (Jefferson 2016) contributed 12 points in their 53-27 W over Margaretville.

9.) In a Berne-Knox-Westerlo loss to Mekeel Christian Academy, two players that were in EST contributed all but 8 points of the Bulldogs' offense. Justin Houck (Berne-Knox-Westerlo 2016) contributed a team high 17 points, and Zach Hilton (Berne-Knox-Westerlo 2017) added 16 points. This output moves Hilton to 999 career points, and barring unforeseen circumstance, the next EST player to cross the 1,000 point mark.

8.) In a 64-49 Hoosick Falls loss to Mount Anthony Union (VT), All-EST Honorable Mention Connor McCart (Hoosick Falls 2016) contributed a double-double, with team highs of 15 points and 12 rebounds.

7.) Damon Burgess (Mount Anthony Union (VT) 2016) finished with 16 points, and All-EST Honorable Mention Tyler Champagne (Mount Anthony Union (VT) 2016) added 15 points in their 64-49 victory over Hoosick Falls. They hit a combined 7 threes; Burgess hit 4, and Champagne knocked down 3.

6.) Scott Voelker (Mekeel Christian Academy 2016) scored a game high 22 points in their 79-41 W over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

5.) Derek Newman (Herkimer 2017) pumped in a game high 23 points in their 71-38 W over Adirondack. This is his 5th straight game scoring 20 or more, and he's averaging 23.6 PPG over that stretch. His total season scoring average is 18.2 PPG.

4.) Colby Fancher (Stamford 2017) finished with a game high 24 points, 15 of them coming from beyond the arc, in a 68-50 victory over Windham-Ashland-Jewett.

3.) All-EST Honorable Mention Kobe Lufkin (Argyle 2017) knocked down 6 threes en route to a game high 34 points in their 77-59 W over Hartford. He's right behind Boucher, sitting in 2nd place in Section II with a 34.7 PPG average. This was his 7th time this season hitting 6 or more threes, with a season total now at 65.

2.) Chris Boucher (Fort Edward 2016) pumped in a game high 38 points, 14 coming from the free throw line, in their 78-68 W over Whitehall. He leads Section II with a scoring average of 36.1 PPG.

1.) Tonight's top goes to All-EST 2nd Team Tyler Lamport (South Kortright 2017), who pumped in game highs of 27 points, 11 steals, and 7 assists in their 69-25 W over Roxbury. With a jumper in the 3rd quarter, the junior joined the 1,000 point club and became the 2nd EST all-star in as many days to hit the millennium plateau.
